It is on Equidaily. The winner paid more than the exactor.

Do you think the bridgejumper in the win pool had anything to do with it? :)

I'd ask him, but he is splattered in pieces right now.

Why would somebody bridgejump in the win pool when they are taking show bets?

Ok,, a field of 6 with just 5 betting intersts and the Place horse was 1-20. Also there was only $10k in the Trifecta pool.

Perhaps he doesn't get a rebate on show bets?

i had one today at monmouth with a $43 horse on top that paid $380. i was pretty happy with that payoff with the favorite and second choice running underneath it, in today's 6th race.

considering track capper Brad Thomas picked winner on top, prices seemed ok to me too

i thought it was great because there were only 4 horses that could run and kelly's horse already had a race over the track. even wesley wards horse had finished off strong his work and looked like fringe player in the race. pletcher loved his horse, but he loves all his horses this year. he had major disadvantage not working over the track prior to the race. he is going to win next time out too.

Just saw the chart on this one. Small pools allowing for the creation of a big inefficiency. It was the win pool that was messed up, not the other pools.

With the one I gave you we ended up with a decent exacta payoff. Pletchers horse will have to beat Kellys next time and I don't think GG will have him that far back.

Welcome to short fields, why don't you think for one minute that they are

POISON.

With the take out and short fields, one can't make any money
