I have no fondness for our Governor, Patterson, a democrat.
He has shown a lot of stupidity in his unelected reign, but I gotta give him credit...he said he would veto any pork and any addons to the state budget, now three months past due. They gave it to him, and, seeing how we have line item veto here, he is vetoing 6900 items....and he has to do it himself, one at a time - 6900 pages of signatures. Kudos for keepinghis word.

Must be hard on his neck, though.....

Good for him! He has shown a modicum of class and principle.

Welp, that's a good point there.

And good for him, maybe he should run for Senate.

I have to wonder, who put up the Bills and what was in them, because THAT is xactely where the Problemo dust lyith.

Sounds familiar. Oh I know where I heard it.

On the campaign trail to the Presidential election, one of the Candidates said

at the first Presidential Debate in September 2008:

"And, absolutely, we need earmark reform. And when I'm president, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely."

Trivia Questions:
1. Who said it?
2. Did he do ever do it?
