Don't know who I detest more right now- the stewards at Monmouth, Alice Cartwright, or myself for betting a horse that I loved for an upset at a nice price but knowing full well Alice Cartwright was aboard.

Did anyone see a head on? It looked like the 7 was weaving all over the track. The objection didn't seem to last very long.

The head on showed both coming over, but the 7 in my mind was the much bigger offender, hence the Monmouth stewards will have my ire for awhile.

but if Cartwright switches the whip, she goes by the 7 and this is a non-issue...

I'm sure she will learn and I don't mean to bash the young lady, just frustrating finding a really nice overlay and knowing with a different jock things most likely would have been different.
