With the weather and the track condition in question, I have always had good success on these occasions, by staying with a horse that was 1st-over in his last race, as they have what it takes to overcome much adversity.....

So, I will stay with my original pick, mentioned elsewhere, "SPORTSWRITER"....I do believe that in this, in his 4th start back for his 3yo Season, is peaking at just the right time for trainer Casie Coleman.....The horse apparently has had some foot problems this year, but I believe that he may well be over that ailment, as, in his last race where he was parked the mile, running 4th on the rim thru the 1st and 2d qtrs, and ending up 1st-over at the 3/4 split, and hanging right in there at the wire, was the race that will put this one right in the thick of things at the end tonite....
