Hey all...

Down $5.60 after an okay weekend of capping. Hit a few exactas that paid less than the cost of betting, but that's the way it goes. Supposed to rain, so here be the analysis for a wet track...

st-DEVIL'S VINTAGE ran a solid race in his only try in the slop and is easily the quickest frontrunner of this bunch; narrow pick. GENTLE NUDGE goes turf-to-dirt and got a horror trip in his only mud start; has worked up to this race perfectly. QUIET CHALLENGE just missed last out; Chavez stays up and this one should benefit from the extra sixteenth.

nd-OATH OF OFFICE romped in the slop at BEL last out. Also won his first start off a similar layoff he's coming off of now; the choice. REY SOL has contended in his two slop starts at BEL; gets big weight break and could surprise. JUDGE HARPER ran three straight races in the slop during the spring. Wasn't a problem then, shouldn't be a problem now.

rd-LUCK MY WAY has worked splendidly at the Spa for this race. Love her gate works here; the one to beat. HIDDEN CURVES also has a few nice gate works to her credit; Orseno runner might be dangerous. LASS DANCE is coming off an excellent work at the Oklahoma track, and cannot be thrown out.

th-HIGH MINDED is a 2YO-son of Belmont Stakes winner Touch Gold. Bred to go long, and this seven-furlong race is perfect for his debut. WAR FEVER has worked OK at Belmont and is bred for success (Sire was G1-placed Stormin Fever); another gun for Hennig. GOLDEN DIAMOND is going turf-to-dirt and gets Coa for this one; most experience.

th-HOLIDAY LADY has very significant back-class. Has run with the likes of Ivanavinalot and Test winner Lady Tak; class edge too much. ANN DEAR drifted out badly in her SAR unveiling, but has shown ability on an off-track; exotics chance. SABRE OF SILVER finished just three lengths back in a race at this route; poses upset chance if a speed duel compromises the front-runners.

th-NEGOTIATION is coming off a failed turf experiment last out. Has shown closing punch in prior slop try and is the narrow pick. STOCKHOLDER ran well in first start off a layoff for Mott; HOW DOES LUZZI ALL OF A SUDDEN GET CONTENDERS? SAM BOO is also going in his second start off of a break; gets Johnny V. for this one.

th-KAZOO ran second to Shake You Down in April and has been working up to this 6 1/2-furlong sprint; quickest out of the gate, quickest to the wire. SHAKE THE DICE just missed to a classy horse (Lebontompsroulet) while earning a very nice 102 Beyer; scary. PAGING bounced last out here, and could surprise if he returns to form.

th-WELL FANCIED (MTO) defeated a tough field in the Evan Shipman last out; clear pick if race comes off the lawn. PRIVATE EMBLEM oozes back-class, running against War Emblem in a fairly famous race at Churchill last year; big factor. PLATINUM SETTING came from 13 back to nearly miss in a mile event here; should love the added distance.

th-SUPERLANG ran a big race on the grass at BEL last out; dangerous on both surfaces. TITLE CONTENDER has tremendous back class, running against EM last year and G2 turf winner Lismore Knight this year; respect. LONELY GROOM has made several eye-catching moves. This race is stacked with speed, and this one could walk away with a share.
