Mr. Seigel,

Today you made an impassioned plea to Frank Stronach to keep Oak Tree at Santa Anita this year. You were successful and I congratulate you.

That plea was on behalf of the horsemen.

Now, how about making an impassioned plea to Jerry Moss to run Zenyatta against your fine horse Rail Trip in the Hollywood Gold Cup?

Yes, I know your trainer is terrified of Zenyatta, and Mr. Moss's trainer is terrified of Rail Trip. But you know what? You two don't work for the trainers; the trainers work for you.

This nonsense of good horses avoiding each other all year long until the Breeders' Cup, when half the good horses in America are hors de combat, is just that - nonsense. Zenyatta and Rail Trip are healthy NOW, they're both in California NOW, their training and racing schedules are synchronized NOW.

So how about it? Can you somehow, someway make the same kind of impassioned plea for FANS as you made for the horsemen?

Thank you.
