Happy Father's Day, gentlemen. To each of you. I hope you have a fine day and your children treat you with the love and greatness that you deserve. Cards and presents for all of you.

My dad is 81, and late this afternoon for he, mom, and my brother, I'm cooking' a low country boil -- jumbo shrimp, red potatoes, onions, keilbasa, corn on the cob, lots of Old Bay seasoning--all thrown in the big pot. Good crusty french bread and butter everywhere on everything. Beer to wash it all down.

Dessert's simple, Hagen Daaz vanilla bean with fresh peaches.

At my house, it was smoked porkloin with pepper, garlic and onion, a nice salad with homegrown lettuce topped with chopped veggies and some homemade sun tea with lime. The kids treated themselves to ice cream w/ strawberries, but I just went with the fruit...a great day all around. Hope everyone had the same.
