i got to give you some credit there, evangeline is one tough place to battle! this place has one unforseen result after anohter. while the payoffs look good, they tend to be alot smaller than the probabilties they are to happen. i know because i was playing exacta's in the place. i hit one with the 2nd longest horse in a 14 horse field go off and win @ 47-1 and the 5th longest @33-1 run second, the exacta paid $500. i only had it for $1.00 but realised right then and there that it wasn't enough, so i gave up on the place for exotics. i am still playing a few win bets there and they seem to be ok as long as i don't bet that much.

It's a good track to play small wagers. you'd think that with such large fields you'd see a lot of bigger win payoffs. the bettors there are as shrewd as they come. :)
