There is virtually no speed in the race besides Zardana. I thought St. Trinians had more speed, but her PPs show her coming from 8 or 9 lengths back in her last few races.

Zardana has raced on Hollywood Park cushion twice. Her first time 70 something beyer flop can be forgiven, since it was her first start in the country and it was a sprint race.

Her second Hollywood cushion performance shows a respectable 96 while winning a G2 race.

If it weren't for the fact that I believe Shirreffs wants Zenyatta to win more than he wants Zardana to win, I might say Zardana should win this.

It is extremely fishy though that Zardana out of the blue works a 58 and change bullet and stays here for the Vanity. When you work a horse like that, without prior workouts showing that it's the normal work for her, then you must be planning to send.

It just all adds up to her being here to help Zenyatta.

That being said, I think Zardana may forget to stop.

If she gets 24 and 48 and change, there is a small chance she can win.

The only way to cash is if Zenyatta doesn't fire.

I'd go with a win bet on Zardana

And a straight St. Trinians over Zardana exacta.

I'm not sure I'm going to play the race, but I'd play something like that if I decide to.

Zenyatta will probably win though.
