I can't blame him for the spill.
But his lack of energy towards cleaning it up from the "get go" has been absolutely abominable. If there's one ass that should be kicked it's hard and often, it's :

On a King of the Hill episode Hank was being charged for an overdue porno video that he never rented.

Hank: Whoever is callin' me a liar is gonna get his ass kicked. Is it you or the computer?
Clerk: The computer sir
Hank (looking the computer over): OK....where is the ass on this thing?

I guess Barry Hussein is gonna go all Ron Artest on somebody....where's the ass on BP anyway?

My favorite line of all time is when Hank walks into his son Bobby's room, and the boy is standing there in a girl's cheerleading outfit:

You mean you couldn't predict it?

Based on his performance in office, I'd say this is kinda like a one-legged man in an ass kickin contest.

Spill reveals Obama's lack of executive experience

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Spill-reveals-Obama_s-lack-of-executive-experience-95819074.html

Excerpt:

In mid-February 2008, fresh from winning a bunch of Super Tuesday primaries, Barack Obama granted an interview to "60 Minutes" correspondent Steve Croft. "When you sit down and you look at [your] resume," Croft said to Obama, "there's no executive experience, and in fact, correct if I'm wrong, the only thing that you've actually run was the Harvard Law Review."

"Well, I've run my Senate office, and I've run this campaign," Obama said.

Spill reveals Obama's lack of executive experience

"Well, I've run my Senate office, and I've run this campaign," Obama said.

Even if the man seriously lacks executive experience, are all of his advisors bone heads and "Yesmen" too? How could anyone advising the President not have told him to get out there and start cleaning up that mess from the get go.
Presidents are supposed to be like Caesar's wife. They have to appear to be virtuous even if they are not.
Perhaps Tom and Boxcar are right. In other threads they've indicated that this spill suits his overall agenda.

CNBC Host Says Obama Sullied Office With 'Ass to Kick' Line - US News and World Report

http://www.usnews.com/articles/news/washington-whispers/2010/06/08/cnbc-host-says-obama-sullied-office-with-ass-to-kick-line.html

Excerpt:

Becky Quick, who co-hosts Squawk Box with lead anchor Joe Kernen and co-host Carl Quintanilla, slapped Obama for using unpresidential language in an interview he knew would be aired as children prepared for school.

"If you're the president of the United States and you go on the Today Show which is a morning show, where you're going to have a lot of kids sitting around watching this, I think you choose your words more carefully," said Quick. "Using the A word when you are on the Today Show talking with Matt Lauer, yeah, that disturbs me. But I also think that this is a way of trying to prove that I'm mad, to do exactly what everybody's been pushing me to do, and it doesn't ring true."

unreal, a guy in Maine has a company (http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/miles-of-oil-containment-boom-sit-in-warehouse-waiting-for-bp-or-u-s-to-use/2/)that can quickly make oils booms, so he starts manufacturing like crazy figuring that everything he makes will be needed in the Gulf. he has had BP come out to look at his inventory, but so far no purchase order. every channel has been taken to notify the government also, again, no action while oil is washing ashore.

_________________________________

John Lapoint of Packgen (http://packgen.com/) in Auburn, Maine, says he’s got plenty of floating oil containment boom and can make lots more on short notice. There’s just one problem: no one will buy it from him.

He’s already had a representative from BP visit his factory and inspect his product. The governor of Maine, John Baldacci, visited the facility and made a video plea to no one in particular to close the deal. Maine Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins wrote a letter on May 21 to the secretary of the Interior, the administrator of NOAA, and the commandant of the Coast Guard to alert them to the existence of Packgen, their supply of boom, and their demonstrated capacity to make more. I have no idea if those are the correct persons and agencies to notify about the manufacturing capacity and the availability of boom. One wonders if the senators know.

____________________________________
So Jindal is asking for oil booms for a month now, the booms are made and more can be made quickly, but it's all one gigantic clusterF.
Meanwhile the president is wanting to kick someones ass. Instead of that why doesn't he get on the phone, have someone send this guy in Maine a purchase order for his entire inventory of booms, and put them on trucks tomorrow and get them to the Gulf? They can put it on BP's tab, but someone has to cut through the red tape.

SO, does B.jindal have the dudes number? It's HIS people/state that is getting killed. What's HIS problem? Next maybe you will want to send some mud from Michelle's garden down there.

Heh, seem to recall Bush delivering water bottles during Katrina?

Oil rig layoffs forecast if deepwater drilling moratorium extends more than a month
Friday, June 11, 2010, 9:15 PM

If the Obama administration doesn't allow at least some deepwater drilling operations to resume in the next month, oil companies that are now taking a wait-and-see approach will be forced to take their investments overseas, according to a key industry group.
"Right now, the oil companies are weighing three options with these rigs: stand-by, stack or move out of the Gulf," said Lee Hunt, president of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (http://www.iadc.org/), a group representing the owners of more than 600 offshore rigs worldwide, many of the largest oil producers that hire those rigs and most of the contractors whose employees work on them.
"If this goes on beyond July 15, then layoffs will have to come," Hunt added. On Friday, Sen. Mary Landrieu (http://topics.nola.com/tag/mary-landrieu/index.html), D-La., offered a new option for the White House to consider as a way to resume drilling -- safely, she believes. In a letter to President Barack Obama (http://topics.nola.com/tag/barack-obama/index.html), Landrieu asked for an immediate resumption of "top hole section drilling"
.........an excerpt......
In her letter to Obama on Friday, Landrieu put the number of "crewmen, deck hands, engineers, welders, ROV (remotely operated vehicle) operators, caterers, helicopter pilots, and others who operate and service these vessels" at 38,000.
another excerpt....
While no layoffs have been officially announced yet, Bollinger Shipyards, based in Lockport, said in a statement Friday through the National Ocean Industries Association that it will have to let at least some of its 3,000 employees go.

"In the 64 years of our existence, we have never been faced with such an uncertain future," the statement said. "This moratorium has created an environment leaving Bollinger Shipyards no choice but to downsize our company thereby eliminating good-paying jobs."

The Dutch also have experience in these kinds of accidents and offered to help, including building those sand burns in a timely fashion. BO turned them flat down. Can't have anyone interfering in a good crisis and spoiling BO's plans for America's makeover.

Don't forget folks: This is the guy who promised to "change the face of America". What this means is that BO intends to destroy America from within and then make it over in the neo-com's image. Gotta admit: He's doing a pretty good job, thus far.

This while mess now is 100% OBama's fault. No doubt about it. He has personally thwarted every honest effort to stop the spread of oil. I believe it is his plan. Look, the has already killed off shore drilling - all those rigs that move out will never come back, and that has been his plan all along.

My evidence of this......no one could have acted so stupid and so irresponsibly throughout all this unless it were on purpose. No one is actually as stupid in real life as Obama has acted.:D

Pull your head out from where the sun rays never get to penetrate. What makes you think the State of LA has the [legal] right to proceed on its own? The progressives have done a great job in eroding states' rights, for your info. Having said, this, however, if I were governor of LA, I would stick my finger in BO's eye and do what I thought was best for my state.

How about some U.S. judge ordering a bunch of BP executives to sit on a plank one after another above a dunk tank filled with oil sludge from the Carribean Sea? Then, let willing pitchers throw a baseball at the bullseye that releases the lever to dump these executives in the oil?

The object? To raise money for U.S. residents affected by this U.S. environmental disaster. The money could come from each of the following scenarios or both...i.e. from BP for each executive dunked in the oil tank, or people willing to spend their own money to have the satisfaction of unloading these BP executives off the plank into the oil.

Okay, I'd allow the judge to let the BP executives to wear safety goggles to protect their eyes.
