Yesterday's events would have been nice to watch. Just picture Chantel all excited about winning a $300,000 stake race in Canada and then watch Smith take all the spot light away from her by winning the Belmont Stakes.

Good concept. Lousy production.
The dubbed in race calls using the name of the rider rather than using the actual call, was just hokey and amateurish.

Agreed. I liked it otherwise, but that was enough to turn me off it.

I agree, its Denman's fault for agreeing to fake calls.

Just use the real calls, geez, not rocket science.

The thing to do would have been to have the actual race call, lower the volume on that track and layover a narrative from the rider. That would have gotten the riders more input and thus more exposure.
ANother thing they could have done was mic the jockeys on board their mounts.
That would have been cool.
