so let's see:

TVG sends its crew to Bel earlier this week, sets up its :
camera crews etc and doesn't televise the card because
of what?

I was away in Saratoga, and don't know what happened, but
I see my Tivo recorded races from MTH , WO. AND HOL...

unbelievable....

:bang:

They had a taped delay of the 4th.

they can't because the races are contracted to the big boys

ESPN and ABC have rights to the races. I think this is pretty well known.....

I've an issue about switching the Jock after a a loss in which the
owner and/or trainer thinks a new jock will help their cause to win.

Kent rode "Drossel" 7 of eight times winning twice at different
tracks distances and surface.

He lost to Fly Down as the heavy fav in the Dwyer where FD
ran his career best # and Drossel ran his usual #'s.

Handing the reins to Mike Smith for a "smoother ride" in a
field of mediocore competitors , at least in my opinon
doesn't necssarily insure a better finish, as the Horse,
not the Jockey ,is the Key.

Kent gave Summer Bird the perfect trip in the Belmont, and
while he took the heat in the previous Bel. ( Big Brown, )
he certainly is as powerful a rider as Smith, and not
scared to go inside when needed , which is not the
case with Smith as evidenced with his ride on Jackson
Bend in the Preakness..

While I'm not a fan of either rider, I'm only discussing
the harsh treatment involved with trainer and Jocks in this
game, which many times does not warrant such actions.

Per their contract with ABC (ESPN) HRTV was allowed to show 15 seconds of each race covered by ESPN live. I kid you not. HRTV opted for the stretch drive.
Is that absolutely ridiculous.
