This is our rubber match. Looks like we have five picks in common. Probably couldn't avoid that on Belmont day. I didn't play any of my winners straight yesterday because they were under 7/2. Did have some rolling doubles and picks though. Anyway, here goes:

1. :6: :10:
2. :7: :3:
3. :7: :6:
4. :8: :3:
5. :2:
6. :1: :5:
7. :3: :5:
8. :3: :2:
9. :8: :11:
10. :1: :9:
11. :9: :6: :11: :5: (listed four for super and picks)
12. :3: :1:
13. :8: :2:

I'm not surprised when your system picks some odds on horses that don't win but I am impressed that you had some double digit winners. If you keep your positive ROI you could sell this to guys who make most of there money from rebates. I won't be playing this challenge after today because most of my focus is on Monmouth (killed yesterday) and Woodbine (got killed). It was fun though and should have attracted more players.

This outta be fun. I don't consider myself a basher of Beyer, but here goes anyway:

R1) :4: :7: :10:
R2) :4: :2: :7:
R3) :9: :1: :10:
R4) :8: :3: :4:
R5) :9: :6: :8:
R6) :1: :3: :5:
R7) :3: :5: :1:
R8) :8: :6: :5:
R9) :4: :8: :12:
R10) :5: :1: :3:
R11) :5: :7: :6:
R12) :7: :3: :1:
R13) :9: :8: :2:

I would never want to be a public handicapper. Some of these races I didn't want to choose and had no strong opinion, but this should be fun regardless.
Good luck to all.

Well I stunk it up pretty good today (in real life too!). Only one winner (Hoppssey at 9-1), but my 2nd choice won the first four races...ugh. Also had the top 2 in the Belmont in the wrong order, going 5-7 instead of 7-5 on my picks.

What a difference two awful days makes....

Jonnielu beats me again (he has never lost to me) with his three winners ($4.30, $4.50, $18.20).

nobeyerspls also beat me (not hard to do today) with his two winners ($11, $7.50).

gm10 failed to post the full card, so once again, he doesn't count (of the picks he did post, he had one winner for $4.20).

This was fun. Too bad 46 didn't play. Reminded me of when I used to play horses straight thirty years ago.
I had two goose egg days at Woodbine until yesterday when I hit a couple of nice ones. What is that saying - "chicken one day, feathers the next"?

He had to work two tracks for three long days....along with two nasty accidents at the harness course Saturday evening that went into Sunday AM....LONG weekend with nasty weather to boot.

What about lil ole PhantomOnTour....didn't I also 'beat' PA in this? I say 'beat' cuz it's hard to feel like a winner with one correct choice on the card, but he did pay $18.00 or so and doesn't that better PA's total? Then again, I am not a basher of Beyer, and was doing this for fun.

Over a long enough sample of course the Beyers will not have a positive ROI as I am sure you know. By the way, Belmont is by far one of the toughest tracks to make figures for anyway. There are many turf races on two different courses, some around one turn and some around two. Figures for the them are about as tough as it gets. That also leaves very few dirt races for a sample. This isn't an excuse, I think Beyer does a good a job as possible. It is just, in my opinion, the toughest track around for figure makers.

You ain't kiddin brother, Belmont is tough to figure, literally. I also do figs for EvD and they are orderly (variant wise) on most days. I have 'pars' for all rail settings on the turf(s) and it doesn't serve me too well. I just mark turf races in terms of shape with a liberal 'no adj.' zone for route pace. Very few turf races (fewer than dirt, at Bel that is) are rated Fast-Fast. Or F-F-F when dealing with routes. The solid majority are S-F or F-S which helps me judge closing kicks when they run again.
Then again, when the rail is out on the inner turf it's pretty much all speed, so chuck the final fraction ratings in the commode, etc....
