Philly handles more on a non-descript Tuesday than they do on Saturday or Sunday.

The jockeys, trainers, and owners need that business.

i'm by no means an authority on this track as i'm usually rolling out of bed about midway through most of their cards, but on most of the days i do watch it the inside of the track seems like the bermuda triangle. players want to handicap horses, not guess who is going to show some speed but stay wide or out on the crown of the track.

the track also seems to be a breeding ground for super-trainers, trainers in name only, ...... nefarious connections.

just some thoughts.
