I did not play the race. but Tuscan Evening looks so solid. Might be one of the better turf females in the states right now. I hope this does not start a "California turf is different" or a "she has not run against anyone" thread. Looking for her later in the year if she stays healthy.

Tuscan Evening has been tremendous on the lawn in California.
She got a true test of class today, with Forever Together making the trip out west.

Forever Together ran a tremendous race on a speed favoring track.
She will be winning G1s again soon.

Hard to say what Hollendorfer will do with the winner after this.
She's had a tough campaign spanning many months now.
Might be time for a freshening soon, looking ahead to big races in the fall.

Glad to say I caught the trif in this race, playing 3,4/3,4/1,8
Got 9-2 to my money for a 21-1 trif - and would have been nicer if FT got up.

Tuscan Evening has been on a roll on the SoCal turf and they have stated her goal this summer is the Beverly D (which I am looking forward to :jump: ). She may or may not have another start before that.
