Richard,
Western Australia has the best web site that allows you to actually download into excel or pdf for free.

You can get 5 start form for free elsewhere.

Tell me (a) which tracks/states you're after, and
(b) whether you want to pay for info. or not?

Cheers

I'm interested too, so whatever you got for free I'll look at. Thanks.

Okay - for free, have a look at:
http://www.racenet.com.au
Covers Sydney races (and some Queensland races). Unfortunately, the other states haven't really woken up yet!

A reasonably cheap (about $200 per year in your terms) serive that provides ALL start form for horses in EVERY race in Oz EVERY day (online service, not download) is:
http://www.racequest.com

Always have a look at:
http://www.practicalpunting.com.au
for Aussie news etc

....there's more, but it makes me realise that you can't get a lot of free form here. Still, at least the racenet site gives you free 5 start form for the Sydney races (which I think you guys get).

Hope this helps,
Aussieplayer

PS. If you want more sites that you have to pay for downloads or whatever, let me know and I'll put a few of those up. Racequest is quite reasonable though.

Mr Aussieplayer, how about the progroupracing.com.au site?? What is your view of them? Love your tag line that you have displayed with your posts. Not a selection guy myself as I bet the odds. Best of luck to you.

Melman,
Have heard of them, but that's about it. Can't say I've heard anything BAD about them - but I haven't heard anything good about them either - and I'm in touch with a lot of other handicappers who use various services.

You might also like to have a look at:
http://www.saddlerat.com/puntmaster

I know the fellow who runs it. He's a Brohammer/pace fan. You'll find a few races rated under the "equirate" link (I think). He's pretty good - and the site is done purely for free!

There are a LOT of links on the previously mentioned practical punting site.

Cheers
