I know he's had a terrible couple of months in big races, and he took a bad spill at the gate yesterday.
Today in the Spend A Buck at Monmouth (10th race) he took back a horse who seemed to have a right to compete, kept a strangle hold on this horse while the leaders went 24, by the time he let the horse run he had zero chance to compete for a win.
The horse was Nachos Friend, I was curious if anyone else noticed the ride. It seemed like a strange ride from a great rider in a terrible slump, does Garrett need a break or do you folks not see rider error in this one?
