the five is actually going backwards but he was claimed by Contessa from Pletcher so there may be something left in the tank here

the entry damn near dueled themselves into submission.... . they're lucky that the 4 hung just a bit late.

the 2nd has such an odds on logical one, the four, it is not worth the bet

four is much better but the five has a shot as does the other short priced animal the two.....not a good betting race even if exotics were offered.

HORRIBLE!

I am still a maiden.
That is the way EVERYONE and EVERY horse starts out......It took me a few YEARS to win my first 7 furlong race....NOTHING here comes easily and requires lots of study and practice.

Firster had a lot of lick but not enough today.

Let's beat the :3: Bad Action here. I say that because I have a $2 Pick4 and a $5 Double singled to the :2: . Believe he is the dominant pace horse here and will bury the :6: (fingers crossed!) if they hook up. Just think Bad Action may need one after his fun and sun in Barbados...despite him being there to race I am sure Bad Action took in some sun, rum and nightlife while on holiday in the islands...hangover. Yeah, he's been working nicely but lets hope Pletcher has another target in mind down the road and he's getting fit today.

PS-the kiss of death to end all kisses of death is to post on the web that you need a single horse for a nice lil score.....

pace could come from one, 3 or 4 doubt the two, however that one will be close by.....looks a contest amongst the :3: :2: :6: and even this last one seems over-matched as it would be more likely that the one would hold on than the six would close to get up.

I worry that the :2: may not like the one turn route as he has done his best work at two turns; still he is working sharply and is my top fig horse. We will find out in 8mins...

I give the :6: a chance, dependent on the what the :2: does out of the gate.

Perhaps the :4: will find some form back at a track where he has had some success.

Let's go with the :6: Australis Princess. Runs well vs state breds, 3rd off the layoff, win over the course, and a decent trainer angle in play. Diprima was good last year with a recent Aqu acquisition in their first start at Bel, but he has only been marginally successful with that move so far this year, but 9-1 makes her worth a play in my book.

Hope you are doing well today 46zilzal because, as you can see, I am taking it on the chin. Good call there. That :6: went WAY too fast. No chance after that :22 plus quarter.

Usually steer clear of JRV on the turf, but at 8/1 or better I'd like a little WPS action on NP Cat here in the last.

actually like what JRV did there. Got blocked in the lane or would have won, but that is what happens when you have to pass the entire field. Still re-rallied nicely, thought for the place but ended up being only the show.
