you may want to know this,
john sherreffs horse, the #11, garden whimsey was entered in a stakes for 2yo fillies here on wensday and was scratched when his horse drew the rail.
i think
that with a better post the horse would have stayed in and won with a very good chance to do so as the field was not strong. so the question is,
is if the field was not that strong and the horse is that good today then why didnt sherreffs leave her in and run her from the 1 hole anyway?
could be that john wanted to set this horse off the pace that day and didnt want to do it from the rail and has the same plan to lay this horse off the pace today and has the outside to do it from.
garden whimsey is facing two other horses in this race today that look like they could very well have won last wendsdays race had they been entered in that race as well. the #7 tantallon, and the #10 glorious choice.
but at 8-1 for the 7 horse tantallon,
who finished 4th, beaten 1 1/2, crowded at the start, sreadied at the 3/8s, when off at 4-1 in last, as wel as getting a hugh rider change from vergara to desormeaux,
and 8-1 for the 11 horse garden whimsey
as well as 5-2 for the 10, glorious choice,
then if you are playing a pk3, pk4, pk6, exacta, trifecta, or superfecta, then i think it would be quite prudent to include these three in your overall stratagy.
