Dell notebook for $10

It's the helper charity store I'm in and out all the time, a wonderful elderly lady owns it, sits there all day even if it's 95 degrees out. There's a Dell notebook, one of those 9" things, keyboard with screen for $10, but the space in back where something like a cartridge goes is empty. Can you buy a cartridge and make it work, assuming the things even turns on?

For $10 it's still a deal but figure in a power supply if it doesn't have one (new, could be $50+) and a replacement battery (new, could be $75+) if you want one.
Check the model number and Google it.
