One prediction I read early on in the healthcare debate was that Doctors would just opt out and become "cash only" family practitioners etc and Dentists might do the same. I also read that large specialty practice groups like Cardiologists etc might open clinics in the Caribbean and Mexico and that some had even bought options on land in these places. After reading the article above about Doc's just dropping out of Medicare....... it makes me wonder if some of these things might be true and our future is avoiding the Government all together when it comes to Medical Treatment. Need a bypass, fly to Bermuda for it. The Mexican Riviera for other surgeries etc.
It is going to be an interesting ten years coming up.........especially if you are older than fifty.........
