Rep. Mark "Family Values" Souder gets caught playing hide the pickle. Funny thing is, in this "abstinance" video, the interviewer is the mistress. She's kind of a cutie.

When you got nothing, you shoot blanks. It is amusing to read the desperate posting of some here lately.

At least on the rihgt, they take responsibility and resign.
Dems just keep on denying it all.
I give you Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.

Now who hurt more people, these jerks or the repub?

Right........

Oops. The story is all over the internet.

My question is:

Did she have cataracts? Otherwise, I can understand Souder's attraction.
She's got looks, to a point. But can anyone explain her attraction to him ??? Beauty and the Beast in real life??

Talk about desperate. Have you ever re-read any of your own posts?

Repubs resign because they sell family values and religion. Dems don't because we're all grown up and understand cheating may be a dealbreaker at home. Period.

Did all these people resign for cheating/moral reasons? If not, the post is not relevant to my observation.

Work with Massa from your statement and we'll work through the list. You might end up eating your words in this pudden-headed statement:

Dems don't because we're all grown up and understand cheating may be a dealbreaker at home. Period.

Exclamation mark.

Studds is my favorite. This guy was Long Dickin a 17 yr old Page and was re-elected 6 more times and celebrated in his home state......

That's the difference with Dems and Repubs. They celebrate immoral behavior and excuse anything to maintain their power base. The fact that anybody can defend this kind of shit is off the scale immoral in its own right! These are character issues that define who we are. They define what we are. The fact that this kind of activity (from the list above) doesn't meet with immediate calls for resignation speaks to the character and morality of those who participate, defend and excuse ............

From Wiki.

The House voted to censure Studds, on July 20, 1983, by a vote of 420-3. Studds faced the Speaker who was actually reading the motion, with his back to the other members.[3] In addition to the censure, the Democratic leadership stripped Studds of his chairmanship of the House Merchant Marine Subcommittee. Studds was later appointed chair of the House Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries. Studds received two standing ovations from supporters in his home district at his first town meeting following his congressional censure.[4]

Studds defended his sexual relationship with the minor as a "consensual relationship with a young adult." Dean Hara, whom Studds married in 2004, said after Studds' death in 2006 that Studds had never been ashamed of the relationship with the page. "This young man knew what he was doing," Hara said.[5] In testimony to investigators, the page described the relationship as consensual and not intimidating.[6]

Although Studds said he disagreed with the Committee's findings of improper sexual conduct, he waived his right to public hearings on the allegations in order to protect the privacy of those involved:
"...I have foremost in my mind the need to protect, to the extent it is still possible given the committee's action, the privacy of other individuals affected by these allegations," said Studds. "Those individuals have a right to personal privacy that would be inevitably and irremediably shattered if I were to insist on public hearings....

Studds said that deciding not to have a hearing "presented me with the most difficult choice I have had to make in my life."[7]

Say hey to Mel:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/49/Mel_Reynolds.jpg/160px-Mel_Reynolds.jpg

In August 1994, Mel Reynolds was indicted for sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse for engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old campaign volunteer that began during the 1992 campaign. Despite the charges, he continued his campaign and was re-elected that November; he had no opposition. Reynolds initially denied the charges, which he claimed were racially motivated.

On August 22, 1995, he was convicted on 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography. He resigned his seat on October 1 of that year.

Reynolds was sentenced to five years in prison, thus he expected to be released in 1998. However, in April 1997 he was convicted on 15 unrelated counts of bank fraud and lying to SEC investigators. These charges resulted in an additional sentence of 78 months in federal prison. Reynolds served all of his first sentence, and served 42 months in prison for the later charges. At that point, President Bill Clinton commuted the sentence for bank fraud. However, Reynolds had never applied for presidential clemency, which is the first step to be considered for a presidential pardon. As a result, Reynolds was released from prison and served the remaining time in a halfway house.
