Thanks for the ticket, PA.
After studying the race more last night, this Volponi
or whatever is going to get some of my money if I can get any kind of odds on him. No matter what i do in HTR I can't get him out of the picuter. The change from turf to dirt and the BIG race are hauntingly familiar to Cigar
when he came up agaist Holly bull(?) The Big horse was given the race and the next big horse was born.
PS-Love your readouts-you can really visualize the race.

That last race was only his second time going a distance I think. He's still fairly lightly raced with only 10 starts....only problem is, every site I go to on the Internet (BRIS track bandit, Gordon Pine's site, etc) has mentioned Valponi. I think you'll be lucky to get half his morning line odds of 15/1.....

Damn....still alive in the pick 4, but Squirtle Squirt paying $5 really damages the chances for a nice payoff. Have to hope and pray now that Point Given does not win....

Well, Point Given wins and turns my $500,000 Guaranteed Pick 4 into essentially a $500,000 Guaranteed Pick 3 with a $5 winner and a $15.40 winner going into the last leg......

Man this is disappointing....and for whatever reason, I'm still not a believer in Point Given....

I hope Alkarnak can pull off the upset in the last leg and salvage a halfway decent payoff here....
