Where can i find a 2010 TB Derby photo? I dont see the 7 ever passing the 5.

Ive watched that finish 50 times frame by frame. I dont ever see the 7 getting his head/nose past Schoolyard Dreams. That is the weirdest thing ive ever seen.

This photo cost me about $1,250, as I was all over SYD. It doesn't matter how many times you watch the replay, it never seems to end up the way the photo shows...

It always depends on where the camera is located in relation to the finish line. From what I have seen the camera is never in line with the finish at a dead on angle so the video will be biased one way or another usually to the outside horse if it is shooting from behind the finish line not exactly at a 90 degree angle like the photo finish equipment.

In reality, the camera is the finish line, and the pole is just an approximation. The reason why the camera is not in line with the pole is because the pole would get in the way of the photo. Always look for the mirror to get a representation as to where the true finish line is. I've seen some tracks where the mirror is a good six feet off the pole.
