The DRF site has made their "staff picks" available to their "DRF Plus" members.

This consists of all the writers we're all familiar with plus a few others who cover smaller tracks. Participants include Beyer, Crist, Hovdey, Grening, Privman, Watchmaker and Illman.

Of the 22 who selected, a total of THREE picked Super Saver to win (eight picked Lookin at Lucky).

There obviously seems to be a strong desire in this case to look past the "figure horse".

Lookin at Lucky has had NOTING his way the last two, BUT that late style is prone to that.....This track favors a colt more akin to School Yard Blues or Dominguez's mount First Dude....being out on the lead and if not pushed, being out near the line.
