I doubt that they would be put on trial, but you could be correcto.

Fault, i dont know.

Rules, regs were slack and they had their options, they guessed wrong.

I think they should drill on LAND, right here in river city, yes sir.

Exxon was not hurt a bit after the Valdez spill or held accountable. They just threw the Captain to the wolfs and turned there backs. Chris

BP should be banned from all drilling anywhere else.
ALL of their assets should be frozen until the extend of the costs are know.

BP should be given a corporate death penalty.

Here's the thing: There is a cap on liability but no cap on the cleanup cost.

And I am prepared to spend every penny BP has...and then some.
Time to send a clear message....and to look at how could we put members of the board in prison.

We should apply that thought to bank bail outs and car company handouts.
And of course, GREECE!

Good point 46, responsibility.
You could lose your standing in the liberal community for making sense like that. Come towards the light....;)

BP's VP says they will not be limited to the 75m maximum coverage. On Good Morning America today he said the company will pay whatever is necessary to fix this problem. Last week an oil analyst said the cost to the consumer will be in the form of a 12 cents a gallon increase at the pumps come late September early October.

Zil, does this rule apply only to "evil" corporations?

P.S. Your quote above is a genuine keeper, for which I'm positively sure I will find good reason to heap those words upon your head as burning coals in the future. ;)
