I voted for other, as in me. I had a very hard time getting bets down for the Derby.

NOTE: This thread took a different direction with the storms last night so I split it and move the non-racing stuff here.

That's 'cause you were busy countin' your money, preparing your deposit slip with those 200+ clients listed @ $99.95 per month.

You know, that "labor intensive thing."

I bet its a drag, in the bank, waiting behind you for the next teller.

Those commercial deposits are a b****.

My wife was shocked to know I'm making a quarter million selling figures...she is none to pleased to find out via message board.

Unfortunately for me, we had a Honda Pilot destroyed by hail tonight and now she is shopping for a new Jaguar.

I saw the golf ball size hail on the news, and I thought about you guys. Your luck sucks. Months ago, the accident, now this . . . . keep making figs. You need the money.

I knew she'd rather have a Jag!!!

Golf ball? Golf ball!!? We wish it was golf ball. These were taken twenty minutes after and had melted a bit.

Others have it much, much worse than we did and I believe there are 5 deaths so far. A car can be replaced.

Wow that is some nasty hail. I assume you had a few tornados down your way? We had a couple just west of Wichita. The sirens were going off but I live on the far east side of town and kept working outside until it REALLY started raining. 1 1/2 inches in about a half hour. Good luck with the new Jag:)

Oh my Lord CJ, I just heard golf ball size on the news. HUGE. This is horrible!!! Glad you're all ok. You're right, a car can be replaced!

Hope these storms have passed.

Cj, our local news just showed a tornado in Norman, Ok. from earlier today. It looked horrible, homes destroyed, semis blown off of the highways. Again, spoke of the "golf ball" size hail. Didn't show it, just spoke of it. They didn't show what's in your drive.

Stay safe through the night.

CJ:

You and your family stay safe. I feel awful for all of the folks in Oklahoma who have been affected by the horrible weather. I used to live in Oklahoma City in the Mid 90's and I miss it and the folks out there very much. :)

Those things could destroy a concrete building.

Concrete buildings are probably safe but they raise hell with skylights and windshields. Last year the same size hit during a baseball game and the parking lot looked like a war zone. Terrible.

I can't see a shingled roof or metal siding holding up well against hail that size-incredible.

Found lots more damage today...holes in the roof, pool pump broken, turbine destroyed, but still nothing that can't be fixed.

I do apologize for hijacking this thread. I'm trying to find a way to split it off to off topic and maintain the original poll.

I have one of those, an SUV. The windshields are bad, but the body damage almost hard to believe. I'm not sure a bat could do much more.

Damn, getting whacked in the head with one of them at terminal velocity would ruin your day, at least most of it. Glad you're OK.
