Churchill shipper finished second in his turf debut by a neck, exceeding the class par while dueling for the lead with winner and 7-5 favorite Summer Slew.

*Note: The Churchill turf course was extremely speed biased this last meet.

Eligible to improve in second try on grass.

Trainer and jockey (Dale Romans, Cornelio Velasquez) dominated the Churchill meet.

According to the DRF, all the grass races have been moved to the main track. Probably a boatload of scratches, and a great betting card will go down the drain.
