I just need to know if anyone else heard this...

During one of those pre-taped Bill Nack spots on ESPN today, I swear he referred to jockey Stewart Elliott as "Elliott Stewart."

Was it just me? Did I suffer from a momentary bout of auditory dyslexia?

Didn't see it Pace but you're right on. From the DRF Christ blog comment. Someone complaining about the coverage.

"From that dude from some Housewives and cooking recipes to Bill Nack calling Stewart Elliot, "Elliot Stewart", in a TAPED piece to Hank Goldberg picking a horse in an early race that had been scratched at 8:30 THAT MORNING!"

I'm surprised Bill made that mistake.

I could somewhat understand if he were doing a live piece (well, I really can't, because Bill Nack is someone who should not make that kind of mistake)...but to do it on a TAPED piece...meaning NOBODY at ESPN caught the error in post-production...

That's just shocking. And shoddy.

No wonder they raised the price...
