Does he own that track, or what?!It's not just the track; it's size of field...he's sure good w/ Churchill, but Calvin's real trick is crowds.

He should be be releasing a how-to video for winning Derbies. And Garrett Gomez should be watching. :ThmbUp:

He sure knows how to get more than 1 horse to love the rail real close!
Last year I said 19 stupid jockeys and this year I say the same thing!

as soon as they hit the turn i said to myself " you got to be blanking kidding me.. they did not let him have the rail again"

He was on the rail for but a 100 yards during the race. He knows his horses and how to get it done. This was one exactly like many on here forecasted.

Calvin cemented his Hall of Fame status last year but this was certainly the icing on that cake! A lot of rough trips in the race but Calvin took the golden path, saving the ground like he used to do all the time coming up at Delta Downs! Way to go CB! :)
