i see there is a "making work pay" tax credit this year
apparantly for alot of folks working doesn't pay, it is better to live on the dole.
the winner of the power ball the other day was a toothless seven dollar an hour clerk. just goes to show what alot of people work for these days. at that salary it doesn't pay to work for alot of people. you live better living off the government.
heck even people in prison live better. they get three square meals a day-a roof over there head with the security of knowing they will never go hungry or homeless, and get full dental and medical care. albeit in the violent prisons might not be nice, but for the white collar types that go to "country club" prisons seems like a good deal.
