on the rail horse, Gulfstream lines are not always reliable, but that one qualifies here from older Saratoga and Aqu lines as well....the :4: is the other pace worry here.

That rail horse is declining in 2nd fraction velocities, NOT a good sign for a maiden.

I am not betting today, but am alarmed at the stretch run of R9. Did the jock on #10 stand up in the irons about 25yds from the wire when, imo, he could have CLEARLY caught #9 for the place? I will watch again a few times, but this is unnerving. Please, did anyone else notice this???

This is a huge deal to me. If you watch the replay (and i don't even know who the jock is) he/she clearly stops riding...unbelievable...unacceptable. Looks like the jock knew he had better not finish 2nd. If I had money on this I would be fuming.

I am the worst, still haven't posted a winner. A few more losers and I should be barred from posting.

That jock who stopped riding in the last race and gave up second should be suspended for a long time. That was just so bad and he stopped waaayy before the wire. That's very unfair to the public who puts their money on that horse.

Glad someone else saw that and agrees that it's unacceptable. Jock was Channing Hill, and it looked like he tried to finish 3rd when 2nd was clearly attainable. I emailed NYRA but doubt anything will happen.

What are you guys talking about? Channing Hill was the rider of the :9: who finished second in the race. Victor Santiago was on the :10: , and yeah it did look like he relaxed the horse a little early.
