I do not think it has anything to do with "keeping someone out" . The way it stands right now... HomeboyKris would be the unlucky receiver of the boot out the door. I do not think Pletcher is walking around the stables trying to scheme a way to keep him out. I could possibly see it if the scenario was to keep someone like Sidney's Candy or whoever out...someone who he might actually be worried about.

I think you are over thinking this one here. Just my opinion
