Since you follow Santa Anita, I was wondering if you or anyone else on the board has an idea about why Solis would travel across the country today for an Allowance race at Keeneland. He seems to only have the one mount, and it isn't as if the purse is that great. He's listed as riding #9 Soul of Nataka at 10:1 in the 9th race.

Any thoughts?

Apparently he's moving back to Kentucky so that's probably the reason why.

Thanks for the information. I had no idea. I bet him because it was his only mount of the day. Oh well.

Good call. A jockey objection gave life to a first place finish for # 5 Hewitts.
Myself? I had Hewitts in the late Pick 3. The jockey objection, which I thought held merit, was not upheld. Personally, I did not see that 30-1 shot staying up.
But, I don't like DQ's or objections. I never seem to be on the "right side of the inch" with them. In this case, I wasn't. Even worse, I hate 30-1 shots beating my carefully thought out Pick 3 plays. That's horse racing.
