This track was good to me once, but the operations people need help from SA , for a great morning workout and breakfast club, they have the facilities in place, all you need to do is use them.

Tom this is your track, what do you think?

I love being able to go early and watch morning works, sipping coffee, and getting ready for the day, last time I tried that at FL, they ran me off, sorta...

Now they were polite and all, they just did not open to the public the workouts, or early am ones.

By the way , Tom when you read this email me please, your box is always full.

Isn 't the casino attached to the track open early? Grab a cup of joe and hang out.

Are the pools normally this small at this track? They could not even break the $900,000 mark for handle on their Opening Day.

Something I've always been curious about:

Why do they only run 4 1/2 furlong races at the start of the meet?

horses at FL are usually coming off of long lay offs; so sort of like being able to bet on workouts in company with these races

Doesn't make too much sense to ship $4KNW3L claimers down to Florida for the winter. You'll see a couple of trainers ship over to PEN or CT for some races

Actually $900,000 is a very good day; they generally handle around $750,000 except on Mondays and Tuesdays when they can get up to $1.5 million. If NYCOTB closes, FL will really be hurt since that's where they get a huge chunk of handle from.

OTB will be staying open, so that's one sigh of relief for FL.

That's what I've always figured but I'm surprised they don't card any longer races at all.
