Aqueduct Wednesday

1st- Valuable Lady appears to be loose speed and with the move to restricted claimers, may be enough to get her home.

2nd- Coney Island goes for low profile t/j combo but fits here and should get first run on Winitback who although probably loose on the lead, can come back without help.

3rd- Casanove Move and French Dip in a Pletcher coin flip.

4th- Star Of Sapphire moves east and into the hands of Carlos Martin who is one of the finest turf trainers I've ever seen. Turf races thus far are good and should improve further in this barn.
Cocktail Hour gets a bigger makeover than Michael Jackson and am expecting big improvement in second start.

5th- Stratton's Girl moves inside and must take advantage of her speed early.
Got Clearance has been a huge disappointment for Levine but gets one shot at the bottom for me.

6th- Lemon Shore towers over these in class and ability and need only deal with The Vin Man and Medjool for top honors in bad field.

7th- am spreading big time in the pick 4 because I just don't ever trust Something Gold. While using her, also using Liberal, Khalifa, Battle Mountain, and Ex Pat.

8th- HIgher Incentive moves back east to race with her own kind and needs to work out some sort of ground saving trip.
Ms. Stilleto and Boxitup are the other two for me.

9th- Mochachino gets the vote by process of elimination but really has nothing to beat except herself in this spot.

Maiden race, so that's a good pedigree play, IMHO, on broodmare side

In the 6th, I played 2-8-7 ex box. The #2 had the highest #of wins on Sire side and had very good speed and stalking capabilities. with the 8 on the sire and bm sire side coming in next on my calculations. Didn't trust that #1 after that long layoff. Not sure how it came in yet....

Putting aside the redboard -- I read the post, I know what you typed -- but to me, a three-horse exacta box is not an efficient wager.

It says that you like the chances of all three horses equally. If it's a background wager -- meaning, you have a nice win bet on one of the three -- that's OK, but if it is your main wager, I see it as inefficient. If I like the chances of three horses equally, maybe I shouldn't play the race.

I got the :4: confused with the :2: . I like 2 here. Took good money when last seen and DeRosa claimed the horse took time and put him here at Aqueduct. We'll see.
