Despite his dismal attempt to be a real race horse, The Green Monkey may turn out to be a realy nice sire...he does have the breeding.
I'd like to know who this foals mama is? He's a nice baby...looks to have good bone, and in the last shot...a nice hind end.

Congradulations to his owner:) Hope they pick a good name for him;)

The Green Monkey is the biggest horse I've ever seen in person. I always wondered why they never tried him going long on turf. I hope he becomes a great sire.

Well, his size doesn't matter too much as far as his becoming a good sire...but his conformation is wonderful. Let's hope he did have a cometitive nature that wasn't shown in his races... his connections will book him to the best mares posiible to give him a good shot at being successful as a sire...only time will tell.
I always wondered why they didn't try turf with him...he must have had a lot of 'issues' because, IMO, they really didn't try very hard to find his 'niche'.

Hims a her and she is named" Your Lovely"...She is out of the mare Im Angela.I have a Indian Ocean 2yo filly that is a Jan foal out of the same mare training at Calder and her name is Elegant Angela.Who knows whats in store for this little girl..No pressure as she doesnt know her daddy cost so much..Both fillies are for sale. Jackie Fleck and Jim Price in Ocala Fl bred and raised these fillies. They are hoping something good comes out of this.Wish them luck as they are great horse people. They bred,Break and do layups on their small farm

Does anyone know who the underbidder was at that sale? When they left off at 15.5 mil?

They did run him on the turf. Maybe you didn't try very hard to find his race record?

Nice names for fillies...sure hope Indian Ocean filly goes on to good things, McSchell.
Say, is that Jim Price any relation to Jack price?
Best of luck:)

Wow, a 10 length lead at the 1/8th pole and lost. I don't know if I've ever seen that before.
