Breeding Ability of Zenyatta after She Retires??

I am in the dark on this like most people.

Any Vets, Owners, Trainers out there would like to take a stab at this.

1. She will be 7 years old ?

2. Can a horse as a first time mom handle it at her age.

3. What age do mares quit having babies that are healthy?

Help

Excerpt from link above:

1 The key to a successful outcome in a breeding program begins with the overall health of the mare.

2 Mares should be bred after the age of 3, and can be bred well into their 20’s.

3 A mare’s reproductive efficiency decreases significantly after the age of 12, especially if she has never been bred.

It's all good common sense...Zen will have the best care in the world...she'll be fine and IMO, she'll be a great mother to her babies...the only possible problem would be getting her to settle, as it's known many race mares have a problem with that...but it's usually resolved with time. I would hope they would allow her to really wind down on the farm for a few months before she's covered...she'll need to be totally relaxed and be a happy mare, and also gain a little weight...
