This guy is sooo good, when he Keeeeeps telling, those that care to listen, who was to blame for the economic disaster.

"Members of a panel investigating the U.S. financial crisis assailed former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin and ex-Citigroup Inc. CEO Charles Prince for the bank's role in the crisis, deriding their attempts to apologize for the economic damage created.
"To make the argument that somehow a simple apology still allows you to maintain a profile of income…doesn't fit the scale test, no matter how often you feel really, really sad," former Rep. Bill Thomas (R., Calif.) said to Mr. Prince.

Phil Angelides, the former California state treasurer who heads the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, took similar aim at Mr. Rubin "

from WSJ.

from skate;

I just cant understand why the Press does not give Bthe O credit for his accusations, that the "Bush Pres'cy was responsible for the economic downfal".

One impotent FACT remains free from Media coverage.

Brooksley Born ( head (?) of the CFTC), during the 90s , Bush/Cheney era:eek: , told Congress to regulate over-the-counter derivs, noting a wordly $680 Trillion in Notional Value.

She was put on hold and told "take no action for 6 mos". That was Congress, mind you, Dem/Rep does not mater.

Anyhow, a group called the Pres Working Group went to work on a report to congress and strongly suggested that "No Action Needed to Regulate the Fin. Service Industry:.

This Gal, Born, saw exactly what was taking place and reported to Dem/Rep congrees (clinton etal) during the 90s.

So, you see, Bthe O hits another nail, which makes us think about the nails he continues hitting...since he was so correct with accusations about the previous term.:confused:
