A very good book by Malcolm Gladwell who has some very interesting things to say about the combative nature of the Southern culture and the roots behind "honor" killings as the basis for many of the famous family feuds in the Kentucky Tennessee area in the late 1800's. Some were downright brazen.

I've read all of Gladwell's books and enjoyed them all. Currently just finishing his most recent, "What the Dog Saw" which is more of his fascinating insights into the way things work. Highly recommended.

I didn't really think much of Outliers, interesting here and there, but I wasn't really sure he had a whole book there. I really enjoyed most of the sections in What the Dog Saw. A pretty amazing diversity on display.

Funny WTDS comes up here right now, I came home tonight and it was sitting on my porch, returned by a friend I had loaned it to.
