The horse hasn't raced in a year now. I wouldn't get too excited about his future prospects.

i agree. this is a tough injury to come back from. i would have given him almost a zero chance with mullins, but dutrow seems to have a way with horses like this. he was my derby horse last year. him and quality were my exacta. after both dropped it really threw me for a loop by race time. i'd like to see iwr win some races.

Crap...guess I didn't see this topic...I posted about this also...anyway...Dr. Bramledge says his recovery is remarkable, and both he & Dutrow expect he will regain his form from last year...let's hope so because with him, QR, Summer Bird, Mine that Bird and several others...looks like the latter part of the year will be great...and if all 4 of these colts regain form, tossing in the other good ones we'll have racing...including the fillies & mares...things are looking mighty good:jump: :jump:
