Looking at PACKER in the first race tomorrow. He's 30-1 morning line and S. Grabowski says, "this horse hasn't done much and last was better but it does little to suggest he'll move forward". I disagree a here. Packer closed on the field early even though they were running fast for him. Last time he was running 6F they ran the half in 47 flat and he was 8+ lengths back. This time they ran the half in 45.4 and he was 6.6 lengths back THEN they ran fast for him all the way home(1:12.1) and he still came back and closed on them to finish just 4.5 lengths back. Last time they finished in 1:12 he was about 14 lengths back.
I don't see how this is not looked at as a big positive by Grabowski? His last race was a huge improvement as he made two moves in a race that was fast for him. Trainer going with a weight added on jock for this one and you don't have to be a Derby contender to win a Clm10,000N1Y.

I'm NOT saying this horse is a lock or anything like that :D . But I don't see why he should go off a huge price or why he can't contend for win honors with an ok pace if Fujita and maybe J.J. Prophet are up running good on the front like they do. I'll play around with him in exotics and double for some fun. Hey, if Commissioner Chris is 8-1 and Packer was JUST 3 lengths behind him closing is 30-1, I'll take it. Packer did alot more good running in the last race than Commissioner Chris did IMO. If he gets killed, which he might, I'll smile but I just like that last race with the fast pace and him tearing it up making moves for the first time. We'll see :)

Like the :1: . So I'm gonna go triple 1 /8/2,3,5,6 and 1/ 2,3,5,6/8 and maybe :8:/ 1,2 exacta.

Hey, crazier things have happened. A $20 bet won't kill me but maybe the embarrassment after he loses will

The Distorted Humor in Keeneland's 3rd race on Weds. has a better shot...when do you see GoGo for Al Stall?

Well Hopefully after all this, Packer is not scratched ha. If so I like :5: ACCLIMATE for value. I think he'll run well in this spot today. Will use him with the :1: . But.......Let's go Packer! Please, try and make me look good and hit the board:D

This one has a real problem as the last several trouble lines read `Steadied awkward at break,`Steadied rank,`steadied rank early.`

Though this one ran against a decent pace last out, it will take a lot to beat the rail horse in this one. with :3: :6: close by

:1: and :1a: SCRATCHED  . J. J. Prophet looks like the lone speed with Ramon on him. Those scratched killed the race for me. Oh well.

Trip 2 / 3/ 5,8 and 2/ 5,8 /3 and 3/ 2/ 5,8

J J"s Prophet isn't the lone speed in here. If anything, those scratches helped the 8.
