This horse obviously has a lot of talent but PLEASE PLEASE don't go to the Derby. Contessa was quoted as saying that they will try the Derby Trial in three weeks....fine, but if they win easily they will bring him back the following week for the Derby. I am not against the spacing of the races...that's not my argument. My argument is safety. This horse has serious issues. His first attempt at two turns was a disaster. In the Bay Shore yesterday he ran while he had his head turned 90 degrees to the left. If he does this in the Derby or even worse (with the packed drunken infield) the Preakness, it could be a disaster.
