After signing the Takeover of the Health Care Industry, BO mockingly quipped at the signing ceremony that Armageddon hadn't occurred. A meteorite hadn't struck the earth. The earth hasn't cracked, etc., etc. All this was said to mock and ridicule his opponents who predicted that the bill would be disastrous for our country in more ways than one (as though anyone with a half a brain in his head expected that to all take place overnight).

Now, fast forward about a week after some polls came out showing that BO's approval ratings were down for several reasons, including the passage of that hellish piece of legislation. His numbers dropped about 5%. So, how did BO respond to that media criticism? Predictably, he mocked and ridiculed that, too. But this time he ridiculed them (the media who conducted the polls) on the basis that the bill was passed only a week ago! He likened the foolish media to a farmer who planted seeds only yesterday but today expected to see his crop! Talk about having your cake while eating it! Classic, classic doublespeak which BO felt was necessary to try to put both types of his critics in their place.

On one hand, he criticizes his opponents on the basis of no immediate disastrous effects upon signing the bill into law. While on the other, he criticizes his media critics for polling so quickly because they [unfairly] haven't given the bill enough time to kick in so that everyone can realize its wonderful benefits.

This president has to be one of biggest fools to have ever occupied the office. He's truly one buffoon who can't help but trip over all the webs of deceit he has spun.

And the megabytes of irony in all this is that the detrimental effects will be felt long before the vast majority of people receive the crumbs of any benefits! Don't believe this? Ask Waxman, then, why he's so angry at the big corporations who, when complying with SEC reporting rules, projected a very gloomy outlook for their profits.

Actually, Armageddon did make an appearance almost immediately.
The sec required notice by many companies of projected bleeding losses is signaling the next major blow to the economy. Job creation will be killed by this.

Obama is too stupid, along with the Pig Man Waxman to understand this.
But then again, the destruction of our economy is a good thing for theses guys. They share this goal with Osama, only they are doing a lot more to make it happen.

What do you expect from a man who spent 20 + years attending a church that had anti-Semitic filth as a staple. Now he is a better man, right and FLOL to that one. Everyone has a agenda, it is just a shame it takes ao long for people to wake up.

AND and and not without the help from the neo-libs and Media bs. They are just as responsible.

Well I hope you get some GOP old boys club fart for your next president. Obama has begun programs to clean up the mess left by the last administration and given us a moderate heatlh care bill that Sen. Grasly or whoever proposed last year, jobs are increased. The tax exemption to ATT sounds like it was a giveaway that should've been given in the first place. boohoohoo poor ATT. They're so much more important than 47 mil who can't get health care. Profit margin of 49% last year, boohoohoo.

In fact, the employment situation is FAR DIMMER than even Obama himself predicted it would be under HIS NEW policies.

All these companies saying they are going to have to lay off or NOT HIRE people because of the new health care bill surely doesn't help the situation, now does it?

Really? The mess got a lot worse than BO predicted because he insisted last year that Stimulus I was needed to keep unemployment under 8%. (Looks like he was off by "only" about 18%, eh? ) You're another lib with a selectively short memory.

Do you ever look up anything or just parrot what they tell to?
That tax break was passed with bi-partisan support in 2003 to get companies to keep their retirees on their HC plans. By taking this away, these millions of retirees now lose their HC and will get put into medicare at a time when funding is being cut and doctors are leaving practice.
Care to explain how this is a good thing?

And btw, ATT provides jobs, as do all theother companies that are being screwed here. Your boy is taking HC away from people, preventing job creation, overfilling the MC system and taking billios of dollars out of the economy.

But you are happy, Good. That's all that counts.

And that's exactly the plan. BO wants to force retirees off THEIR "cadillac" plans to eventually get them on to the one payer plantation. Anyone with an IQ above his shoe size should be able to see this.
