For some fun on a Thurs. afternoon, the following parlay at The Meadows. It's chalky, but we take what we can get:
Race 4: #9 Angelo Kosmos: Drops to previous claim level after a very creditable performance vs. a Burke monster. In that race, trotted the last half in :58 in defeat and should have little trouble with this group.
Race 6: #9 Dr. Lon: Merriman was standing up in the sulky in the late go last as he had no lane in the stretch. Has very good early speed and the back class to make short work of this field.
Race 8: #4 Agenda Tom Ridge: Was much better after adding lasix in latest. In addition, the Burke stable has really come to life in the last 10 days or so. New shipment of medicine??
Race 13: #2 In The Proverbials. Classy sort was an early disappointment after claim but in his last showed a flash of the form that makes him inherently a much better horse than these. Repeat of last wins.
