Decent effort?

I bet longshot Miss Peanut 30/1 in today's 8th(20100331) race at Santa Anita. I realize that I am biased here, so I thought I would ask if anyone else thought Pedroza put in a less than stellar effort down the lane?

I've watched the replay a couple of times, and it appears to me that he could have got the place. Pedroza seems quite content to let the others pass him late in the stretch. Perhaps my bias is making me see it this way?

Never asked. And she could have at least secured the place with that trip. I'd be pissed too.

Not at all Granite..I watched that race a couple of times myself and thought the exact same thing.

At least I'm not the only one who saw it that way.
Pedroza has done this to me more often than I would like to admit.
My own fault I guess. Buyer beware when it comes to Pedroza!

Only excuse would be if Pedroza lost his whip; if not, that was piss poor effort on his part.
