Start a 'big dig' project like they did in Boston, at the expense of the whole country's taxpayers, in every single states major city. Then one day, we can all wake up to an unemployment level that we can live with and Mass. will no longer be the lone 'socialist' state in the country.

I think unemployment rate is not the right statisitic to be using.
Try comparing the number of unemployed to the number of available job. Facto in how many people are on unemployment insurance that refure lower-paying jobs.
Now you have a clearer picture of how bad it really is.
I'll tell you what, I get laid off, I scrub toilets if I have to.
I used to that in my college years. There is no shame in cleaning a toilet bowl. And I'll tell you something else, after I cleaned one, it was CLEAN. I took pride in what I did and did it as if it were my own home I was cleaning. Not a lot of money in it, but what I got, I earned, and nobody had to pay my way out of their paychecks.

If our forefathers had the attituce of today, they would out hunting deer and if there were no deer, they would come home and whine - "All we saw today was squirrels-hundreds of squirrels, no deer! Whatever will we eat?"

I actually clicked on your response and read it thru the ignore button. I would call that a personal attack on Tom. You are starting to cross the line in some of these area's. You wake up and read your fax from the DNC and jump online to spout your crap. When you run out of responses you resort to this kind of crap. I would say you are starting to detract from the subtle yet addictive attraction this board provides. This place is full of good people who have lasted a long time in discussion of many different topics. The good ones last. They are engaging in personable free thinking dialogue that can sometime run astray, but is almost never disinteresting. You are completely devoid of any qualities that gualify you for this category of person. You are not just a persistent flamer who thrives on baiting people, you are just another dumbass with a keyboard. JADWK. That is the term we use in the computer business.

I suspect that you are often rejected in the real world unless surrounded by your own kind. You fail to integrate yourself easily into groups. You are probably not very successful with the ladies and suffer from maladies of the physical or mental variety that detract and belie your real perceived superiority. These most likely include diminutive stature (mentally and physically) and you may also suffer from Penile Diminished Vastness Syndrome. It is common in JADWK's (no, that is not a character from Star Wars) and those who lose the ability to reason and resort to personal attacks.

You obviously retain some type of intelligence after all you found your way here. But do not mistake my diatribe. I am not attacking your views. I am attacking your method of discourse. The route in which you take to try and persuade or voice your opine is of low class and without credibility. There are others on this board who I disagree with their views in much the same way as I do yours. They participate in discussions and I find great respect for them. We give each other a little jab every once in a while and carry on our discussions without dropping to the level of your small mind. I would suggest that you try to elevate your methods and not continue to tell people they are "Full of it"
