Watching a Jamie Oliver rerun show on food in public schools, and he is amazed to hear that the schools do not put out forks and knives with meals for kids 4-10 years old. The principal asks, "What would be the point of a knife?"
Kind of explains the dumbing down of the next generation.
Then, after he introduces healthy food and the kids are reluctant to try it, the school staff is ready to chuck the whole program after two days. I guess you have to be smarter than the kids to run a school. Since when is anything in school optional?
