The upcoming May issue of Mad Magazine features a picture of Alfred E. Newman wearing a t-shirt that used to say "I Love Obama".

Somewhat surprisingly, the fictitious Newman, holding a magic marker, has added the letters "ed" after the heart to make the t-shirt read "I Loved Obama."

When you've lost the favor of AE Newman within your ranks, you've become a bona fide nonstarter. :(

Tissue anyone?
