C'mon, liberals. Put up time. Produce the audio and prove your allegations. While you're at it we'd like to see that arrest record for the spitting incident.

Elkabong, it won't make you feel any better but I too am sick of all this "outrage" too. I get it. People said nasty things. It's over. The media should let it go just as those who were yelled at did on Saturday.

Still, pups like hcap posted this stuff happened. He's been called out to prove the accustations. So far he's got nothing.
If there was an "arrest" as he posted, there would be a public record of it. S/he hasn't produced anything of the sort.
There are several videos w/ audio online of the supposed N word recipients crossing the street. Not one has a racial slur audible.
Like I said, it's put up time.

Not that I'd taken the time to look into it, but I'd thought the original Tea Partiers sent Tea Bags in protest to the WH and hence called themselves " Teabaggers"- completely unaware of the more Stern-like meaning...

I call them what they want to be called. Our equibase guy has a shirt that says proud tea-bagger and that is what their local group (olympia, wa) is called.
he says by using the name that the left chooses to try and put them down, it empowers them and minimizes the negative connotation.
just like if the left wouldnt have always got so upset when people would say Barack HUSSEIN obama, the right wouldnt have taken such joy in saying it.

do you find the term tea bagger offensive or something? the people who i know are tea people (more appropriate term??) don't seem to care when people call them it, they know what they stand for, and don't care what name they are called.

I guess i've just never heard anyone complain when referred as a teabagger, didn't realize it was such a negative connotation with you guys. i will try to not offend and will use tea partiers or people from now on.
one problem with America nowadays, everyone gets so easily offended, but don't want to hurt anyones feelings.
It's not about hurt feelings - I find it comforting when the left call me names - it shows their desperation and lack of facts. Bu this term is a vulger sexual term, and thsoe who use it knowing that label themselves as street scum.
Like Sara, the idea of real Americans uniting scares them.

So because it's sexual that makes it that much worse?? i seem to recall people on this board use terms like 'Queen Bitch' "Nazi" "hitler" "saddam" and "LSOS" to describe people, must admit i found those way nastier than teabagger, but i guess that's just me.

LINES THAT MUST NOT BE CROSSED.... Rep. Tom Perriello (D) represents a fairly conservative district in Virginia, but that didn't stop him from voting in favor of health care reform on Sunday. In response, local Tea Party activists posted the lawmaker's home address online, and encouraged constituents to go to Perriello's house to share their thoughts on the new law.
The right-wing activists, however, made a mistake: they posted the address to the congressman's brother's house.
Nevertheless, a day later, there was an incident.
Federal and local authorities are investigating a severed gas line at the home of U.S. Rep. Tom Perriello's brother, discovered the day after Tea Party activists posted the address online so opponents could "drop by" and "express their thanks" for Perriello's vote in favor of health care reform.
The gas line connected a propane tank to a gas grill on the home's screened-in porch, according to sources in Tom Perriello's office.
The incident is being viewed as an attempted threat to a member of congress, sources said... The local FBI field office and the Albemarle County fire marshal are investigating the incident. Police have stepped up patrols in the area as well.
A local Tea Party leader, Nigel Coleman, was apparently one of two activists who posted Bo Perriello's address online Monday. When told that it wasn't actually the lawmaker's address, he wrote, "Oh well, collateral damage." (Coleman later removed that comment, and said today that he "condemns" the incident at Bo Perriello's home.)
Coleman's Danville Tea Party previously made headlines in November for organizing a rally where Perriello and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi were to be burned in effigy, though the event was later cancelled.
And now a congressman's brother's gas line has been cut, perhaps as the latest form of Tea Party "protest."
Look, I realize that right-wing activists are outraged by health care reform. I'm not altogether sure why, but their anger is obvious.
But once we get to the point where gas lines are severed at private residences -- following outrageous vandalism and weekend protests in which a member of Congress was spat on -- it's not unreasonable to wonder if the far-right base has gotten dangerously out of control.
Here is what we know for sure.....
Those doing this stuff have not been identified. hcap tries to pretend it is a given that is is the right, but this type of stuff could easily be the left paving the road to try to sell this pig to the public.
We know the left also viewed those addresses on the web.
We do know that Bill Ayers, a friend and mentor of Obama and the Clintons DID bomb the pentagon, did kill innocent people, is an anti-American progressive/communist.

Recall the Watts riots in California and how numerous blacks pillaged, plundered and burned other blacks' businesses, etc. so that they could point the finger at evil, white racists? But the Dems would never, never stoop that low would they? :rolleyes:

Why is it widely accepted that if an individual (let's say a Muslim) engages in some criminal act that it is unacceptable to correlate that individual's conduct to the belief system which he (/she) subscribes to as a whole?
But yet, the same sect that would quickly object to painting with a brush of that magnitude just can't wait to do the exact same thing when it suits their agenda - the obvious difference being the complete absence of any actual suspect from which to draw those conclusions.
Republican outrage? How about - Outrage. Then when we catch the offenders, we charge them criminally on the merit of their conduct and not in the media on the basis of some phony marginalization of beliefs based upon alleged party affiliation.

Based on hcap's logic, we can only assume that the shot fired at Cantor's office obviously came from an anti-semetic liberal/progressive/democrat Obama supporter who is obviously a member of the SEIU and Acorn. I wonder if MSNBC will make the connection tonight.

Now a voice message to a Republican Jean Schmidt is released. A guy calling her racist for not supporting Obama, saying if he was spat on by a tea bagger he would have shot the guy with his 9mm. The guy sounds like he has an IQ of about 50 or so.
Obviously based on hcaps logic, this guy has been watching MSNBC. Why must MSNBC and some in congress cause such hatred towards a group of people? Why hcap? Why do Garofolo (sp?) and Obama have to brainwash people into thinking that not supporting his healthcare bill is racist. When Obama said he brings guns to knife fights people apparently took that literally. He really needs to tone down his hate rhetoric. Progressives don't just send emails and spit, they all have guns and they use them. Typical progressive radicals I guess. This is all based on hcaps logic. I see how it works now. The far left base has gotten dangerously out of control since Obama was elected.

The Richmond Police Department is investigating an act of vandalism at the Reagan Building, 25 E. Main St., Richmond, Virginia. A first floor window was struck by a bullet at approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23. The building, which has several tenants including an office used by Congressman Eric Cantor, was unoccupied at the time.
"A bullet was shot through the window of my campaign office in Richmond this week, and I've received threatening e-mails," Cantor said. He refused to release details, however, saying it would only encourage more threats, and refused to take questions.
Later Thursday, however, Richmond police said in a news release that the bullet had been fired into the air around 1 a.m. Tuesday. It finished its random arc back to earth at a sharp downward trajectory, breaking a window pane on the bottom floor of the two-story brick building where Cantor's campaign leases the top floor."
The official police report today states the bullet entered his office through the
window.
